How the Size for ball bearing is calculated?
Answer:
Personally, I look it up in a catalog. The number does have meaning, it is not arbitrary. For your 6305, the 6 means single row deep groove, the 3 is the "diameter series" I don't quite understand what that means, I assume it has something to do with how the outside diameter is related to the inside diameter, the 05 is the code for the inside diameter, in this case, the diameter in mm divided by 5, or a 25mm bore.
The first link in "sources" below is quite informative.
Your question is not entirely clear; however, the sizing for a ball bearing is determined by the manufacturer's static and dynamic load ratings. From these load ratings there are established formulas you can use to determine bearing life. You also need to look at rpm's and verify the bearing is suited for purpose.
63 is the series (medium duty in this case 62 is light 64 is heavy)
05 is the bore size (25mm in this case) (00 is 10mm,06 is 30mm)
