What is the difference between HVAC, Mechanical, and Plumbing?

Under the Mechanical Discipline, HVAC and Plumbing would be under that. Mechanical is a very broad discipline.

HVAC is the heating, ventilating, air conditiong and refrigeration. In your house, the HVAC keeps your house warm in winter and cool in summer.

Plumbing is he water supply system and the waste and vent systems. Water from the faucet, water going down the drain. The plumbing makes all that happen.
