Describe the working of transistor switch in saturation.?
Answer:
I'm not sure where you can find a circuit diagram, but you may also be able to do a search for operating curves of a transistor.
Start with the transistor operating in the linear region. While in the linear region, an increase in the input current will produce a proportional increase in the output current.
For example, as long as you're operating in the linear region of the transistor, a 1 ma increase in input current will produce the same increase in output current regardless of where in the linear region you're operating.
In the saturated region, a 1 ma increase in input current will produce less of an increase in your output current. This means that you're approaching the limit of output current that can be supplied by the transistor (i.e., it's in the saturated region).
I hope tis was helpful.
