How is Java used to design software for cars, aircrafts, and trains ?

Answer:
Generally speaking, I'd say it is not. Java is usually used as an interpreted language and it's performance is probably not upto that kind of application. No doubt there are various little utility programs written in Java, used in those industries, but still, in general I'd say Java is not the preferred language (my bet would be a C or C++)

Of course, if you mean the beverage Java (coffee) then it is extensively used in most programing (though caffeinated soda type beveages are also popular)
