Give me some ideas & details for my projecton "Motor speed control using pressure sensors"?

I'm 2nd yr ECE student, Is it related to my dept?
please tell me its major & significant application?
Is it already available in market?

Answer:
A major use of motor speed control is to control fans that move air through a building for heating, cooling and ventilation. Sometimes pressure sensors are used to sense the air pressure in the ducts and control the fan speed so that as outlet dampers in various rooms are opened and closed the air supply pressure does not get too high or too low.

Pressure sensors are also used to control the speed of pumps that supply water or other liquids in various situations. As valves are opened and closed at various locations to draw water from the supply, pressure sensors increase or decrease the speed to maintain the correct pressure.

Edit 1
Sensors that are similar to pressure sensors are used to sense force and tension. They may also be used to control motor speed. Machines that make paper sometimes have sections that have sensors that control motor speed or torque to keep the paper at the proper tension as it moves through the machine. The robot motor control mentioned above is more likely to have a force sensor that controls the torque of the motor.

access the site and look at the top of left side, click the first button

then you can get a lot of information.
with respect to robotics pressure sensors can contol the speed of a motor in order to keep a hand from crushing fragile objects.
The motor starts fast then slows proportionally with the pressure on the object.
jab bus ki motor garam ho jatee hai to ya to bus band ho jatee hai ya phir driver gas release kar deta hai
