Digital logic gates.my problem is?

I use the logic gate IC at out put i need 12 V and 3 Amp .but I fale to get 3 Amp I recive only 300 mamp

Answer:
i doubt you would get 3 A from an ic without it burning up
you probably need an op-amp in the curent amplifying configuration not the normal voltage amplyfing
well pease do specify which IC you are using?

12V and 3Amp's amounts to 36W which is a very large power output to expect from any everyday IC (say 74 series).
If your application requires only very low-frequency switching (up to about 3Hz) a small relay would be the best solution. It will use less power than the fairly meaty amplifier you would otherwise have to use (typical coil current is only about 15mA), and will switch currents of up to 10A without any problem.
