Lightsaber Question!?
anyone know about the lightsaber toys, how when you press the button on it and the plasic blade comes out. Anyone know how to make the lightsaber blades, like how to make the blades come out. I hope I'm making sense. like its starts out like a short pole -------- and then another smaller pole from inside comes out making it longer -------/---------=------------...

It's called a telescoping shaft. It's how old car antennas worked. As you state it is a series of tubes, but with a lip on each end, one flared outward and one flared inward to keep them from completely seperating. When fully extended each outward lip is stopped by the inward lip of the next tube.
Get a thin walled slightly tapered tube, cut it into sections and fit them inside each other.. and you will get the principle..
