How is the book resnick and halliday for preparation of IIT 2008 ? Im doing HC Verma, but i want to learn more

So, is it worth reading the book ? Or it doesnt have much good explanation of concepts or in depth analysis of situations ??

i have this book...and let me tell you it rocks!

this book is focused on making you understand physics, not get marks in some silly exam. all the problems in it are of application type, most of them of practical situations.

i did find a few errors here and there, but nothing major...

the downsides are that definitions given here are not formal ones...again its about understanding. also, all the problems arent solved...that comes in a separate book i think.

but overall, i think its a really good book...go for it
