Triping Charecteristics of ELCB, what is the meaning of 30mA tripping.
Answer:
when it detects 30mA(on the neutral line)of current it will trip(turn off like a switch), meaning that it will break the circuit.
it is for circuit protection in case of earth leakage.
if you have imbalance loads between your 3 phases, your neutral will be high, if the neutral is high enough, it will trigger the elcb(according to the specification)
