Does anyone know from where I can find free Mechanical engineering ebooks?

Answer:
Try www.wikibooks.com
dis is a sis proj of www.wikipedia.com
These aren't really ebooks, but if you're looking to just explore the kinds of things that MEs do, MIT's Open Courseware is a fairly good resource. You can find lecture notes, old homework, etc.

http://ocw.mit.edu/ocwweb/mechanical-eng...
Bookyards has a small list of Engineering ebooks at http://www.bookyards.com/categories.html...

Another free library is Free Science, and they have a list of engineering books at http://freescience.info/engineering.php?...
Try http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/sub...
Click on T for Technology, then type in TJ for library of congress call number for Mech eng and start browsing.
Or QA 800 for the mechanics and fluids books.

Some professors have made their texts that they have written free on the web. Other books are very old and less likely to be useful, so look at the date of publication to get something written in the past 10-20 years.

You can also try Google books but it's not so good for recent Mech-e topics because of copyright restrictions.
