What is the best kit (like mind strom from lego) to start robotics.?

Answer:
What is "best" will depend on what you want to do and what you skills are.

I like the sumovore from solarbotics. I have made modifications to the ones I use.

I think the lego stuff is too expensive.
I think these two are the best ones:

Lynxmotion offers you to work with various types of robos and control software for your PC. I will choose the Robotic ARM to start with.
Most kits like legos don't really teach you what you need to learn. I would start with something easy like beam robots. You can buy kits but you can also just buy the parts and build your own.Building your own is much more rewarding and cheaper. You learn about how transistors work and capacitors. After you master this i would start looking into kits with programming chips. Like the basicx chip.basic stamp. Then start making your own using servos and programming. Good luck and have fun.
