What you are asking is being done in grid tie systems. You install your solar modules to increase voltage like hooking batteries together. The DC voltage of the 12 volt, 24 volt or 48 volt solar modules can be added to bring the voltage up to 600 volts if needed. Then hooked to a DC disconnect and from the disconnect to a Grid Tie inverter which converts it to AC power. When it leaves the inverter as AC power it goes through an AC disconnect and on to the breaker box in the home which backfeeds the electric powe co.
Grid Tie inverters will shut down when the electric co. is down. This is for safety. People kill the poor guy working on the power lines by hooking a generator to their homes when the power is out without shuting off the main breaker. This backfeeds the electric lines and the utility worker on top of the pole trying to get your power back on dies.
The other types of inverters are off grid and will shutdown or short out when hooked to the electric grid of your home if the utitlly is powered up. These types of inverters require a battery to pull power from and will not work from a solar module alone. Solar modules put out 16.5 volts and up which will normally cause an inverter to do an over voltage shutdown.

You CAN'T... the output of a solar panel is 12 Volts DC at a very low current... You need to charge a battery then use that battery to power the inverter.
