How can I increase preassure through a pipe by shape or design?

There is a heating element and water will be the fluid. Also how can I measure the PSI?

Answer:
*Question is not clear.
*I think at present , you are using gravity pressure.
You have to use a booster pump to increase the pressure , keeping in mind the wall thickness of the equipment through which the fluid is passing.Higher pressure may cause a bursting of wall.
[*Thumb rule:
Hydrotest pressure=1.5 times the design pressure.
Dont go beyond design pressure for the sake of safety.]
*You can use the pressure intensifier as per your requirement.
*Do you want to increase the flow?
or You want to increase the heat transfer?

*Dont you have a pressure gauge in the system?
It can be easily available in the market.Or you can go through the Yello pages.
*If you have a pressure gauge inthe system having kg/cm^2 unit, then to get psi, divide the kg/cm^2 by 14.22
larger diameter pipe will have higher pressure, smaller pipe will have lower pressure, but only if there is flow through the pipe.
measure PSI with a pressure gauge, they sell them at most hardware stores.
You have to use a pump of higher pressure or use a booster pump in series with existing one .
If water after heating is still in liquid phase , NOT MIXED WITH STEAM ,YOU CAN INSTALL A PRESSURE GAUGE WITHOUT SYPHON OTHERWISE A SYPHON IS REQUIRED IN THE PRESSURE GAUGE IMPULSE LINE.
