What is a pulse denotation engine how is it different from a conventional jet engine?
Answer:
Actually the pulse detonation engine is a Hypersonic version of the pulse jet. It uses explosions rather than the burning of fuel to get around the problems of maintaining combustion at very high speeds (up to Mach 10 ) The engine is quite efficient and simple in high speed applications but for low speed operation it is quite complex.

was a pulse jet used during world war II , so it must have been simpler to make than a jet engine.
