How does genetic engineering relate to our lives?

Answer:
GMOs in the US are corporate profit motivated, and not to be confused with food. Food is the stuff we grow that is not patented, nor spliced to produce something that will be resistant to chemicals/pests. Most of us just grow lawns, so that is lost technology. Also the results of the dangerous misuse of science is hushed up continually. Not good for the corporate bottom line, the shareholders, or big government, if profits drop along with an increase in knowledge.
it relates to the DNA. this is the genetic road map that makes us all individual and carries forth the codes that keep families together. the oldest human tracable DNA is from "Lucy" I think, found in the Congo. Lucy is the mother of us all. you can research that. God really does exist and science is alot of fun. And when you have learned, help others along the way
