Is it too late to become an engineer again?

i earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2004. I got a job in a completely unrelated field and have been working there since. I want to now get a job doing what i went to school for, is it too late? I don't have any engineering experience.

Answer:
It's not too late to get back into engineering.
But, be prepared to hit the books to get back up to speed on the things you learned in college.
Also, since you have no engineering experience, you will probably have to take a low-ranking/lower-paying position than your peers would be in now after 3 years of engineering experience. This may also mean a pay cut from your present employment.
You will probably want to think of a good explanation for those years out of the engineering world, and be certain why you want to get into engineering. It is definitely not a glamorous profession, but for many of us it is "who we are".
