A good title might be something like "How variable fan speed can save money." You could show how running a fan at variable speed can save money as compared to running the fan full out all of the time. A modern control system can accomplish this in a number of ways. If the fan is directly tied to the space being served (i.e., there are no variable air volume boxes in between), then the speed can be slowed when the temperature setpoint is being met. This saves on fan motor usage, which saves money by using less electricity.
This same principle can be used to control the speed of pumps in a water system. When the load is being met, a pressure sensor can tell the pump to slow down.
I would use many images and an actual demonstration, if possible, to garner attention.

The best way to improve this project is to give it a visual proportional to the fan output. ie leds, meter or some display depending on your funds make it as visual as possible.
I worked on a project similar to this with a heat exchanger using a Variable Frequency Drive for the fan control and an analog input from an RTD. The best part was the display so anyone looking could see how the fan speed was reacting in proportion to the temperature.
