You are not clear;but if at anytime the function involves division by zero then the function is discontinuous at that point.
example:-
y=5/(x-5) is discontinuous at x=5 because the denominator is zero.try plotting the funtion for values of x from 4 to 6.You'll get the idea.Also try y=tanx for x between 85 and 95 degrees.Hope this helps;good luck.
Sorry I cannot help you because you have not given enough information. Is continuty meant to be continuity and if so do you mean continuous functions, or continuous probability distributions or continuous random variables or what? By 'Math Limits' do you mean limits in differentiation and integration?
