Where is other electric pole for train?
Elecric current requires two pole traval. Overhead wire is one pole then where is other one?
Answer:
electric current required two poles,in this case current travel by overhead line and than rich train engines through pantograph. than it is ground by it's wheels.
so current is complete its path.
that means another pole is GROUND.
the rails
the other pole is on the track on which the train runs.
The Rails beneath the train
The rails, (which are grounded).
The potential is between the ground and the power wire. The earth is used as the 'return` conductor in this set-up.
Every electric network need close circuit to complete current path. In traction one pole is overhead and another one is thru rail track. Voltage supplied to tarction engine is achived thru overhead as well rail track to complete circuit.
the tracks.
