Which has bigger transmission power, public radio station ,or cell phone company?

Answer:
A clear channel AM radio uses about 50,000 watts and can cover many states with its programs. A cell phone tower is only serving a local area [next area has another tower]. It has relatively low wattage on each channel (don't forget your cell phone answers with up to 5 watts so there is not much need for high power).
