Switch orientation?

i have a electrical switch. It has two black wires and two white. they are like this:

which wires do i put to what if i hav a positive nd a negative power, nd two wires for a led light?

What is the switching action?: double pole double throw, double pole single throw, single pole double or single throw?

Where are the wires on the switch?: black together on one end, white together on the other end, a black and white on each end?

What type of light is it?: incandescent, neon, other?
this is double pole single throw switch, one pole is white, other pole is black, positive is white, negative is black, line is top, load is bottom, use a continuity tester when in doubt.
