What safety systems are required to operate a diesel boiler?

For example, for gas boilers we can use the burner manegement system (BMS) as safeguards.

And something else, If diesel boilers are safer to operate, why aren't more of those out in the field?

Cheers.

Answer:
well comeing from the paper side of engineering. they diesel boiler is not cost effective for them to use b/c the can just burn bark, fines and pitch. also they use a lime kilm.

the most effecent methods is the Gas jet and the sonic pumps. from what i read the sonic pumps make hot water at 100% but that was just their clame. I know that Gas is up to 90-95%.

deasl is something you have to truck into a plant where natiral gass is piped in.

personaly i never hurd of a diesel builer.
systems safety are all the same whatever your fuel is. diesel boilers are less efficient. we manufacture natural gas boilers and our efficiency reaches 90% up.
