Where do go to figure out air to water psi ratio?

IF I HAVE 40 LBS. PRESSURE ON AN AIR GAUGE, HOW MANY LBS. PRESSURE WOULD THAT BE ON A WATER GAUGE?

Answer:
40 psi is 40 psi, whether it's water, air, mercury or whatever.
Pressure is the same for air and water. Both guages should read the same.
If the water guage was in PSI, it would read 40. If it was in feet of water it would read 92.28.
40 pounds. Your measuring the pressure not the substance.
