Is it true that mechanical engineers returning back from It jobs are neglected by core companies?

Answer:
It is true because they might have forgotten all the basics of core engg. Further the core knowledge of mechanical is very different from software coding type assignments. People are attracted towards the core area when they want to do some creative work. However the pay packet in general companies for core job is less but if one go for some renowned companies the salary is highly attractive.
Because they would have forgotten their core engineering? And why does one want to come back to a low paid core engineering job after the high paying IT job?
1. It’s a good probability that they forgotten all the concepts n basics about the Mechanical Engg.
2. Mostly IT companies pay more than any Core Company in mechanical. So they might have fear that a Mechanical Engg (Form IT experience with higher salary) cannot able to manage their in their environment and with their salary package.

So instead of taking a Experienced guy with (0% experience in Core JOB), they would prefer a fresher with no experience (Same 0% experience in Core JOB) with less salary package.
