What is IT engineering n how is it different from computer engineering?

IT is not a far differnt one from computer science. It is similar to computer science, apart from a slight syllabus change. The main reason for splitting is to earn money. during 1996 there was no IT dept. It is after that discovered by the self financing enggineering colleges to increase their income bcoz more students prefer to join in CS, but there was only 60 seats thats why they discovered a new dept & named it IT.
IT engineering usually involves systems and networks so they look at the big picture.
Computer engineering is the individual workstation or the small picture.
Computer engineering is only restricted to computers
IT is combination of computer as well as electronics
IT branch can be called a sub branch os CS. the only difference is that CS requires knowledge about computer hardware as well but IT is mainly related to its working part only.
