What is the best way to sum individual hatch areas, (auto cad)?
hi how do you add areas without adding individually, by listing and then inserting into excel.
I'm doing volumes and need a quicker way. please.

Have you tried Autodesk help? I use AutoCAD & the help desk is pretty good, I usually find a solution, have a go & good luck.
If the hatch areas are 3d soilds or closed polylines you can use the add command then select objects and click on each unit.
If not there are a number of lisp available online to count objects areas.
If you are looking for the volume of a boolean solid, then use COMMAND: MASSPROP.
