I want to graduate as an engineer before attempting upsc.which branch to select?
Answer:
I would suggest following what you have genuine interest in. It seems that you are looking for a job, not following any ambitions. Well then any branch should suit you, but getting a job and leading a content life are different things. It is best to take some time to deeply think what you really want to do in life and select a career accordingly.
Dont select engineering if you are serious about upsc. Choose sociology/anthropology/philoso... etc, because even IIT guys are writing these things to get to upsc. You will get lot of time to prepare also, which is not the case if you choose engineering.
