Can you work as a computer engineer with math degree?

Answer:
There is a lot of overlap with math and computer science. Programming would probably be something you could easily pick up.

Hardware is a bit more specific. If you wanted to go that route, I would definitely recommend a few classes in chip design.
You can work anywhere your friends are.
Yes, sure if you can program.
Yes.
If you have experience with computers, but it really depends on what the requirements are of the job you would be applying for.
Computer engineering is basically electrical engineering but specializes in digital electronics. Computers are solely electronic devices after all. Computer engineering is mainly about hardware and electronic compoments and their logic. Computer science on the other hand is different. Computer scientists stick to software design, programming, algorithms etc, and needn't worry as much about the silicon chips underneath the scene.
With a math degree you would be better suited for something in computer science. Computer engineering can deal with hardware more, and you may not have the background for that.
