Does any body know how to do the zero gravity levitation or the elevator levitation?

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but when I was in college, I had a job that required me to hand deliver documents in a tall office building with a very fast elevator.
While the elevator was going down, you could jump in the air, and it seemed like you were floating because it took a while to land.
Also, while going up, it was hard to jump at all. It felt like you weighed a ton.
