The assignment is to build a pasta bridge, any pasta, any adhesive. Has to span 1 meter, nothing underneath, 5cm bearing on each end. Has to hold 1 liter of water, 10cm wide. I built a beam bridge with lasagna, doubled up on the sides for beams. The krazy glue didn't hold up and it is due in 2 days, so I have tonight and tomorow to work on it. I used some liquid nailer that seemed to hold, but I am wondering if the design will hold up also. Any good ideas

lasagna sounds good.. its all in the glue, fast strong glue.
2 part epoxy? fast set. clean all surfaces with alcohol. maybe rough all glue surfaces with fine sand paper, the glue likes little grooves that are clean of oil and dust. maybe a belts sander to prepare the edges. maybe try linguine, do you have to eat it after you are done? make beams of overlapping linguine? lots of spring clamps for glueing.
