How do i make a free standing tower out of paper?

In my physics class I have a project to make the tallest free standing tower I possibly can, using only one single sheet of computer paper and 12 inches of masking tape. I was thinking of cutting the paper into thin strips, rolling each one up, and taping them on top of each other, but I really don't know what the best method would be. Any help? Thanks! Answer:
we had the same class project last year except we had about 3hours to finish it in class.there were 20 teams.we get to use as many A4 paper and 1 masking tape.we began by tightly rolling each paper and taping it.they were chopsticks size.we then made a bigger roll where in each rolls has about 12-15smaller rolls.we had 5 of those.we stacked another 3big rolls on top of the 5 bottom ones...and basically built a tower that can withstand test that uses water and wind...it may not be the same as yours but the idea is similar right?hope it'll give you some ideas on how to tackle yours...yours is much more complicated...good luck
i think u should provide the big base to tower so that its center of gravity be at the center point and as lowest height as possible for better system stability.
so,how much bigger base u provide ,larger tower u get.
