Working hours of a civil engineer?

Can anyone give me some info for the working hours of a civil engineer?
Are the hours very long?, third shift? Does it include working weekends?
Any info will be helpful, thanks

Answer:
A civil eng can work all kinds of different hours because of the different things they do. A civil engineer working in the field at a construction site might work 10 hour days, or shift work. A civil might be working 8-5 in an office, or maybe self employed and works whenever they want. There is no standard answer, but most civil engineers probably work monday to friday.
Most work 8-5. If you fall behind, it may be longer.
Most Civil Engineers in Florida work 45 to 50 hours a week and most require you to work Saturdays. Since you get paid salary, most places won't offer overtime. It sucks because if you break it down to how much you earn per hour of work, I have friends that are heavy equipment operators that make more than what Civil Engineers make. On top of all that, Civil Engineers are the lowest paid engineers out there and yet they carry the highest liability insurance burden. This is why I got out of Civil Engineering.
