The waste water is collected in raw water storge reservoir then pumped to a grit chamber outlet of which is settled in a settling *** aeration tank .Chemicals like coagulant, floculators are added prior to settling tank for accelerating settling process . The parially treated water is then filtered in gravity sand or tickling filters and disinfected by chlorination . The filtered and disinfected treated water undergoes check for quality and recirculated for irrigation or as service water .
