Dout regarding pressure.plz help me?

hi
In liquid storage Tanks--
Why hydrostatic pressure is in triangular shape?
&
Why hydrodynamic pressure is in curvelinier shape?

plz clarify my dout. Its very urgent 2 me.If possible give references.

Thanks in advance

Answer:
i think you have misunderstood the concept of pressure. of course pressure has no shape! it is a form Force per Area in which two things are touched.
hydrostatic pressure will not be having any shape.it will take the shape of container.arrangement of spheres is triaxial.it is in cubic shape, which can be compared to container.so that pressure is acting in triangular shape.but,it is not in triangular shape.
What you are talking about is most probably the pressure profile.

Yes, hydrostatic pressure profile is triangular in shape because hydrostatic pressure varies with depth of the fluid. So there will surely be a linear profile.

Whereas hydrodynamic pressure is the difference between the pressure of a fluid and the hydrostatic pressure therefore its curvilinear.
