What's it like being an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER?
2. Working opportunities
3. Working conditions (e.g. working place, people, stress e.t.c.)
4. Other comments?
Thanks!
Answer:
1. Income: Good no doubt.... and then it depends on u how much u want to earn.
2. Working opportunities: Immense. There are many good industries which require an Indistrial Engineer (IE) for there operations and product development jobs as well managing the assembly lines.
3. Working conditions: Go for good names..I mean better people and working conditions depends upon the brand companies because they have defined working hours, ethical guidelines etc. Hey but this also depends on u. If u r work oriented and like to make friends, there is no stress.
4. IE is a good option especially when u work in MNCs. But u should have degree from reputed institution. However if I would have been at ur place, I would have preferred to become Design Engineer(DE) rather that IE. Though DE is tougher than IE but it rocks. IE is more management oriented.
