Difference of 7075-t6 forged aluminum and 6066-t6 extruded aluminum, which is stronger?

Answer:
The physical properties of the Aluminum alloys is where the difference comes from. They are both wrought alloys. The T6 means that both alloys were treated the same.

The 7075 alloy has more Zinc in it while the 6066 alloy has mangnesium and silicon.

The 7075 will have a higher tensile strength and will be stronger overall.

The 6000 series for aluminum alloys is common for extrusions.
extruded has more tensile strength; good for wire and cable. forged is better suited for wheels, ladders. and boats.
