Can someone suggest the procedure to do alingnment with dial gauge?

I presume you're talking about a component alignment on a machine prior to machining.
You fix the dial gauge in some manner, usually with a magnetic base so the dial indicator is midway of it's travel against one end of the piece being aligned. Move the cross slide of the machine to the other end of the piece and note the movement on the dial gauge. Move the end of the piece with a soft hammer so it corresponds to the reading at the other end and re-clamp. Re-check and realign if necessary.
