What is the biggest power station (power plant for those in the US) in the world?

In terms of generating capacity what is the biggest power station in the world? (of any type be it coal, nuclear, thermal or other). Anyone know? Couldn't find it anywhere...got any links to prove it?

Answer:
China's Three Gorges Dam is the world biggest hydro-electric power station by total capacity. Its total capacity is 22,500MW. It will have 32 generators in total, each with a capacity of 700MW.

Nanticoke Generating Station in Canada is the largest coal fired plant in North America at 4096 MW. Eight units at 512 MW each. It is ranked in the top ten in the world.
