Fan coil unit?

what components does a fcu consist of

Answer:
Hi

It consists from:
1)A fan with its electrical components
2)Coil that receives chilled water from external pipes ( it works as a small heat exchanger)
3)Intake filter
4)Out flow short duct
5)Chase that holds all those components

It would be nice if you give me the 10 points

Thanks
Depends on whether it is a Chilled Water coil or D-X coil, chilled water are simple a heat exchanger coil, Air Fan, and sometimes an Air Filter all mounted in a box, which can be ducted to Ceiling grilles.

D-X coils working with Refrigerant are more complicated having all the above plus electronic controls to talk to the Condenser
Generally for an A/C unit, the outside fan/coil unit consists of, The Fan, Refrigerant Compressor, Cooling/Condensing Coil and the Refrigerant Expansion Valve with the necessary piping.
