How can I drop an egg from the 4th floor without breaking it?

what kind of box can I make to put an egg in and then drop it from the 4th floor of a building and the egg be protected enough not to break? also this box needs to be as cheap as posible.

Answer:
Put marshmallows in a plastic jar like a peanut butter jar. then about half way put the egg in. then put more marshmallows.
IT NEEDS TO BE PACKED.
no room for ANYTHING to move around
Make a cat carry it.
I'd use a lot of wadded up newspaper ☺

get a firm foam pillow and a coffee can and cut sections of the pillow apart to fill the coffee can perfectly wall to wall top to bottom, and then hollow out th e3-4 inner most layers to put the egg in and then let it drop... the can will be beat, but the egg will be fine... and if your not too sure of that then attach a shopping bag with some string and you got a cheap parachute lol
a mid size box with a bunch of bubble wrap all around the egg tightly..
Break it first...
I've seen someone throw a container with an egg in it down as hard as they could from the 4th floor balcony, and the egg stayed intact.

They used a 2-liter pop bottle with the egg in the exact center surrounded by cotton balls. It was very tightly packed. There may have been more in there, but I don't remember.
Drop it anyway you want, it is very difficult to break the fourth floor (especially considering that buildings are generally made of concrete).
;)
The point of this exercise is not to be succesful in not breaking an egg. The point is to make YOU think and come up with some creative ideas. Sure, packing is a cool way to do it, but what about some advance parachute type idea that slows the descent or maybe a propeller that ensures your egg falls in a certain orientation. If you don't have limits, maybe you could design a bungee type system with a breakaway. so it seems like it is only falling from a few feet instead of 40'.
roll of toilet paper will handle it
Put it in the box, tie a piece of string to it and drop it slowly
