50 vs 60 Hz?

Answer:
Most times it is the voltage that is the problem, not the Hz wave. If this is in regards to a machine your 50Hz motors will run 18% to 20% faster if run on 60Hz power.
I dealt with a German rotary transfer machine that was 380VAC @ 50Hz. I had to get a transformer for the volt difference, then account for its fifteen or so 3 phase motors running fast along with its timers in the PLC.
Hope this helps.
It was 60 Hz. but I've moved to Asia and it is now 50 Hz.
And the question was?
honestly you cant expect to get good answers out of that
i mean
sound wise 50 hz is gonna provide more bass
and in house circuts in america its 60 becase our clocks are and 60 seconds and 60 minutes
Usually, the frequency (Hz) is not the concern when adapting appliances to different countries' power grid -- except for some clocks that rely on the frequency for operation. Usually, 50 Hz is associated with 220-250 volt countries and 60 Hz is the 110-120 volt countries. Computers don't care about the volts or the cycles because computers come with built-in transformers, the power supply.
