ec nd mechanical are always evergreen branch
so u can join them
but by 2012 i think the most boomed branch is going to be I.T.
nd thts why i hav also choosen I.T. this my 2nd year
nd I.T. is already a boom branch
there so many opurtunities in this branch,tht u can get a gud job if u maintain ur result.

I feel Elec & Telecom (E & TC) is the basic course. IT and Comptr are based on E & TC. Hence I feel E & TC has a long way to go. Beyond 2012. Future developments in IT/Comptrs?Nanotech etc will all be based on E & TC.
