Does a mini-fridge or compact fridge pull much electricity?

i am thinking of putting one in the bedroom

Answer:
I have a brother who does electrical work, and he would probably say that the compact would pull more.
It depends on your definition of "much".

Small refrigerators range in size from around 1/2 ft^3 to several ft^3, so it's hard to say, but it won't be anywhere near the power consumed by a full-sized refrigerator/freezer. Maybe about 25% of the power or less as a rough guess.

The amount of power is published by the manufacturer in the product literature, and is also printed on the unit.
