Is an engineer also a scientist?
Answer:
Absolutely, Engineering is applied science, that is all. There is regular science that is used for theoretical settings. Engineers take science to a practical levels and using the concepts, they build the best possible solutions. As a matter of fact my Engineering degree says Bachelor of Applied Science.
Yes - but oddly enough, a scientist isn't necessarily an engineer.
An engineer makes things work.
A scientist explains why things work.
I think they are different.
In a sense ~ yes...
An engineer is someone who is trained or professionally engaged in a branch of engineering.[1] Engineers use technology, mathematics, and scientific knowledge to solve practical problems. People who work as engineers typically have an academic degree (or equivalent work experience) in one of the engineering disciplines
A scientist is an expert in at least one area of science who uses the scientific method to do research.
hope this helped...
in my perception, yes, engineering is a course that deal w/ the study related to science, (root word of scientist) . Example In designing for a structure, u have to investigate using process that some what related to scientic process, the capacity of that structure, conclusion that the structure may not fail.
Yes, but engineers have always told
scientists, that we almost put scientists
in the roots of engineering.
Since there is nothing of difference
between the roots of engineering, wanks,
and moonology.
