Can anyone please give me any info. about electrical engineering? Will I get a job in abroad & good fat salary

Answer:
EE's can make very good money. It's not a field that is easy to get into, however. It's one of the toughest majors you'll find in college. Your specialty, experience, and skill level will determine not only your salary but whether or not you can find work in the first place. The job you choose out of college is critical. If you want to become an design engineer you should find a design position right out of college etc. This is probably the only period where you don't need to be heavily networked, but you do need to take advantage of past internships, on-campus interviews, and corporate affiliations with your college. After 2+ years in the profession, though, networking is critical. I've been a EE for 25 years, and all but my first job were obtained through contacts. Companies like to hire people who are known quantities. If staff members can recommend an applicant from past experience, companies usually hire that person versus an applicant who applies "cold" and is unknown to anyone at the company.
You might consider Electrical Engineering the second hottest career after IT and Computer Engineering. As far as salary is concerned, it depends on your skills and experience.
go for it.
if u like the trade for sure. & yes u can make good money.
especially if u work with contractors.
Only if you are good at it. This applies to any thing you do. Persue the field that you think you will best be able to master.
If you have the right contacts in the right places you might. The old days of answering want ads in the papers and pounding the pavement to find work are long gone. More than 75% of the jobs these days aren't even advertised. And the best jobs never are.

People these days find their jobs through "networking." In other words they need to have the right friends or family in high places to tell them when a good position opens. Like anything else these days your success will be determined by "whom you know," not "what you know."
The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career. I had a professor many years ago who said that Electrical Engineers who drop out as freshmen become Business majors. Those who drop out as Sophomores become Civil Engineers. Those who drop out as Juniors become Mechanical Engineers. Those who drop out as Seniors go into Forestry. Studying electrical engineering can lead to many paths. Judging by your picture you would also be able to get an Mrs. degree which would also garner travel abroad and a fat salary from an electrical engineer.
