How does water fill the pond on top of Barn Hill, Wembley.?

The large pond at the top of Barn hill Wembley is always full of water.
Water does not flow up hill! There is no higher ground. A spring surely needs pressure to work. Who fills the pond up?

Answer:
It works on a similar principle as an artesian well. Groundwater in a confined aquifer is forced up into the pond.
Rain?
We were taught in geography that the pond was filled with water from sea level as the water pressure pushed it up through the ground. And of course rain fills it up too lol.
Farmers created what were known as dew ponds on grazing land, quite common when I was young, these were very often at the highest point, lined with clay and I assume they were filled by rain and also by dew, tops of hills usually being the coldest spot for condensation purposes.Cattle are today required by law to have fresh piped water.
