I've seen a nasa video where they experiment with acoustic levitation and have seen internet articles where they have levitated small animals using acoustic levitation. I was wondering if you can levitate a person using acoustic levitation?
Answer:
Yes you can. I saw it in college, but the person was lying on a thin plywood sheet. The levitation was only a fraction of an inch. The guy told me he hurt for a few days afterward from the vibrations. Did I mention that it was really LOUD? Wow!
Quietly walk up behind an unsuspecting person and shout loudly...They'll levitate !!
I don't see why you couldn't you just need a lot of power.
Maybe, maybe not.
