In an LR oscillator what determines the frequency L/R or L*R?

Answer:
If R is in ohms and L is in henries, the units for R/L will be seconds and for L/R will be inverse seconds. The frequency of your LR oscillator will be proportional to the ratio L/R.
In general it would be L/R
the frequency depends on the time constant which is T=L/R &
for RC circiuts T=RC
