Which is a better plastic??

I am trying to gather information on which plastic would serve my needs, it is between UHMW-PE and PTFE, they will be molded into a perfectly cylindrical cup to cap the end of a 600lb pipe, and spun at 3,200 rpm, it must last repeatedly to make it more cost- sensible and it needs to be able to be saturated in sand, cement and water on a daily basis for about 150+ days a year

Answer:
UHMW will cost much less and be more abrasion resistant.

I'm curious why the very expensive PTFE was considered at all, is there some other requirement not listed here? What temperature will this be used at? since it will be " saturated in sand, cement and water" I assume it won't be above 100C, and will not need to be sterilized by autoclaving.

EDIT: Well, if the heat will be high, the UHMW may have some problems, it definitely has a lower melting point that PTFE, but still, the abrasion resistance of PTFE is not great and the price is high relative to UHMW. There are other more or less exotic , modern plastics suche as fluoropolymers and polyimides that might be better (but also expensive), just as an example, a couple links are in "sources" below.
sorry
carbon fiber is the best.
