I want help in avr?

i whant circuit diagram to series programmer for avr and book for avr c language

Answer:
Have you tried the Atmel web site? the document at: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_... does show how to build a programmer, but it might be easer to just buy one, that's what I did, it wasn't very expensive, currently they are about $36 (http://www.digikey.com/scripts/dksearch/... ) I think I paid only $30 but that was a couple years ago.

What C compiler are you using? does the vendor supply a manual?
you might try the list of third party vendors on the Atmel website: http://www.atmel.com/products/avr/thirdp... it lists a number of books (none of which I have read so I can't make any recomendations)

EDIT: fixed link to DigiKey above, but I have to agree that the STK500 (http://www.digikey.com/scripts/dksearch/... ) would probably be a good way to go for development or experimentation, I don't remember why I cheaped out and only got the ISP, in hindsight I would have been better off with the STK500 for what I was doing.

For $80 bucks you can get a STK500 programmer development board. So keep that in mind when building your project if your build cost is going to be over $40. A JTAGICE-MKII in circuit emulator is the way to go but its $300.

There are a few Atmel products which have a bootstrap and can be programmed directly via RS232. One of these is the Butterfly evaluation kit $20. If you are not familiar with the Butterfly is is a credit card sized board with an LCD display and several sensors and input devices.

I Highly recommend getting the book "C Programming for Micro controllers Featuring ATMEL's AVR Butterfly and the free WinAVR Compiler " it is a step by step how to guide which uses the open source GCC compiler.

The butterfly and book will be about $75 new.

If you use the butterfly make sure you have a decent 9vd dc supply as I have experienced lock up issues when using a weak battery.

Check out the AVR freaks web site for guidance on hardware and programming...
